An unfortunate trend has formed in which Social Influencers pander for free stuff in exchange for “exposure”. Let me just preface by saying, if this is you, please save us both some time and do not apply. While exposure is great, it does not pay the bills. Likewise, years of market research has proven that in most cases the amount of capital return on influential investments is rarely equatable.

Okay, so now that that is out of the way. If you are a Social Influencer who is interested in reviewing or endorsing any of our products SOLELY because you ACTUALLY love them … ROCK OUT, keep being awesome! Likewise, we are open to working with Alternative Lifestyle Influencers who are interested in collaborating on projects which would result in mutually beneficial tangible gains for all parties involved.

What are Brand Ambassadors?

A Brand Ambassador’s role should not be confused with that of a Social Influencer or Blogger. While Influencers, whose strong presence on social platforms conferred them a sort of trust and admiration from their followers, do enjoy the freedom to represent and review a large variety of brands and products, they, unlike Brand Ambassadors, are not employed by a brand, and therefore neither they themselves, nor their statements and actions, officially represent any specific brand in any way. The same, of course, can be said for any individual contacted by a corporation about a product or service and asked to provide their opinion in exchange for free samples and/or compensation. Rather, a Brand Ambassador goal should be more aligned with those individuals who feel very satisfied with a product or service and choose to promote it by recommending it to other parties without the requirement for remuneration.
 

You see, Brand Ambassadors are the human representation of a brand, whose purpose is to develop and maintain a positive company image by efficiently interacting with consumers, allowing them to keep their finger directly on the pulse of the community.  As they are required to have a vast understanding of the company’s vision and functions, they are uniquely qualified to share a brand’s personality and voice with everyone they interact with. In this regard, Brand Ambassadors work directly for the company and are responsible for a brand’s visibility, building existing contacts, fostering relationships, and improving brand awareness through word of mouth. Additionally Brand Ambassadors provide a foundational role in helping the company development by offer professional insight into the communities needs, the competition, brand movement, pricing, and distribution, all from a street level prospective.
