Directions For Use:
This carafe has been intentionally designed to achieve liquefaction without the use of a wick.
- Fill a crockpot or saucepot with 2 to 3 inches of water.
- Place the carafe in the pot.
- Heat on low until the wax has fully melted.
- Remove the carafe from the pot and check the temperature of the wax with an instant-read thermometer.
If the wax is too warm, simply stir for a minute and then recheck.
Please Be Advised:
As a general guideline, it is advised not to allow wax heated above 135°F (57.2°C) to contact the body, especially for those with more sensitive skin.
When playing with a new partner (or even just a new wax), it is advised that you apply a small amount of wax to the desired target area of the body prior to engaging in a full scene. This allows all parties involved a chance to observe any reaction the wax may causes in conjunction with the recipient’s skin, as well as experience both the performance and feel of the wax, providing time to communicate any adjustments which may need to be made.
Extra care should be taken when engaging in wax play. Liquefied wax, like any other heated fluid, carries with it an inherent risk of scalding injuries. It should also be noted that temperature and contact time are inversely proportional to this result, meaning the hotter the temperature of the wax, the less time it requires to administer a severe injury.
